Edith joined LUC in April 2013 as a principal GIS consultant, with experience in a broad range of GIS data processing and analysis techniques. She has a strong background in implementing GIS in the field of environmental protection and planning.

She previously worked for the Scottish Executive, where she gained a valuable understanding of the different Scottish Government environmental and planning guidance and the work of different non-governmental public bodies. Her six years of experience with the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority (LLTNPA) equipped her with excellent skills in utilising GIS for environmental and planning projects.

Edith’s main interest lies in the field of public participatory GIS and ensuring GIS and database capabilities are exploited whenever possible to automate and streamline processes.

Outside work: Edith is happiest when zooming past lochs and woods on her bike or exploring some random corner of a hill, wood or village.
