Jon has over 30 years’ experience as a chartered town planner (MRTPI). He has advised numerous organisations on planning issues and been responsible for securing planning consent for many major projects.

He works with leading schools on development strategies and advises the Hurlingham Club in London on planning matters. He’s also advises on renewable energy projects including solar and wind farm proposals.

Jon manages LUC’s EIA framework contract with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, leads framework contracts for Natural England and Sport England, and regularly provides training on town and country planning. He has led training courses at Natural England, the Environment Agency and various councils on general planning, appeals, inquiries and obligations, the Community Infrastructure Levy, inputting to development plans and EIA. He occasionally lectures on planning at London South Bank University and is a member of the RTPI Partnership Board at Oxford Brookes University.

Outside work: Jon is a keen sports fan and is a season ticket holder at Harlequins Rugby Union.
