LUC is working with Hackney Council to produce a detailed masterplan for the improvement of Shoreditch Park.
Hackney Council is asking local residents to feed into the plans for the popular green space in London. A month-long public consultation exercise will take place through October, culminating in a public event in the park on 26 October where the public can share their ideas for improvements and help co-design the park.
Consultation will comprise workshops, information stalls and drop-in sessions taking place across Hoxton and Shoreditch. Ideas put forward by local residents will inspire and inform our detailed masterplan.
The council has £2 million to invest in the park to increase biodiversity, improve entrances and upgrade sports and play facilities.
The work will begin on site in autumn 2020.
