LUC’s landscape architect Samuel Cortis has produced a video talking through the research work he has completed.

Samuel is the 2019 winner of the Landscape Institute Mark Turnbull Travel Award which awarded him a grant to conduct travelling research across Europe. During his trip, he had the opportunity to meet with Landscape Architects across six cities and to visit innovative projects and sites.

His work is titled ‘Making Room for Social Spaces; an exploration of how community-focused and managed landscapes can shape development strategies for Scotland’.

The full portfolio that accompanies his talk can be viewed here.
