Jon has over 30 years’ experience as a chartered town planner (MRTPI). He has advised numerous organisations on planning issues and been responsible for securing planning consent for many major projects.
He works with leading schools on development strategies and advises the Hurlingham Club and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in London on planning matters. He also advises on numerous other types of development including medical facilities, sports projects and renewable energy, including solar and wind farm proposals.
Jon manages LUC’s EIA framework contract with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and advises numerous other planning authorities on EIA. He regularly provides training on town and country planning, and has led courses on behalf of Natural England, the Environment Agency and various councils on development management, appeals, inquiries and obligations, the Community Infrastructure Levy and inputting to development plans. He is a member of the RTPI Partnership Board at Oxford Brookes University.
Outside work: Jon is keen runner; he still manages to play football once a week, and goes to see as many bands as he can.
