Summer newsletter: A new government and new opportunities
Our summer newsletter has arrived!
The new Government has announced an ambitious legislative programme with economic growth at its core. We will see new bills in quick succession covering housing and planning, energy and infrastructure, and transport.

LUC operates in all these sectors and we are pleased to see them making the headlines. In a departure from the usual style of our quarterly newsletter, six of our technical specialists each set out their thoughts on the implications of the proposed new legislation and guidance. The articles cover planning, housing, energy, environmental reporting, placemaking, and the Green Belt.
While the devil may be in the details, there's no doubt that exciting times are ahead.
Disclaimer: We have approached this newsletter in a non-partisan manner. Our comments focus on the actions of the new government, not on any political affiliations.
I hope you enjoy reading about what we do. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
