LUC highly commended for Planning Consultancy of the Year
LUC is proud to announce that we were Highly Commended for Planning Consultancy of the Year at the 2024 Planning Awards, held on Thursday 13 June at IET London: Savoy Place.
The awards celebrate excellence in planning and placemaking, recognising outstanding contributions across various sectors.

A commitment to positive impact
This commendation reflects LUC's dedication to delivering positive impacts on communities and places through our full range of planning services.
We collaborate across disciplines, working with our in-house GIS, transport, heritage, ecology and landscape teams, as well as external partners, to guide clients and influence policy at both national and local levels.

Measuring our impact
Measuring our impact is crucial to our employee-owners. We strive to create better futures for people, nature and places through our work.
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion, with a team that is 63% women and strong representation at senior levels, further demonstrates our dedication to positive change.
We also actively support the next generation of planners through graduate programs and apprenticeships.

Innovation in digital technology
In addition to the commendation, LUC's innovative Herefordshire Natural Environment Evidence project was a finalist for the Award for Use of Digital Technology in Planning.
This project, commissioned by Herefordshire Council, demonstrates how digital tools can revolutionise the planning process by providing accessible and interactive data for informed decision-making.
LUC extends our congratulations to all winners and fellow nominees. We are honoured to be recognised for our commitment to excellence in planning and placemaking.
