Neil McAlpine speaking at Improving Health and Increasing Activity Conference 2023
LUC's Director of Transport & Movement Planning, Neil McAlpine, is speaking at this year's Improving Health and Increasing Activity Conference.
The event is held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London on 12 September 2023.
Neil will deliver a talk titled "Active Travel in the World of Development". The case study presentation will discuss how to educate developers and highway officers on the importance of active travel within developments.
Neil will share insight on the main driver behind active travel for developers and the economic advantages of embedding active travel into development proposals.
Recent news
The UK Government has just published its new Onshore Wind Strategy, setting out over 40 steps to help meet 2030 clean power targets. LUC is proud to have contributed to this strategy as part of the Onshore Wind Taskforce working group.
