LUC returns to ISBA Annual Conference 2025 in Manchester
LUC will showcase its environmental consultancy services at the Independent Schools' Bursars Association (ISBA) Annual Conference from 19-21 May 2025 at Manchester Central Convention Centre.

Connecting with school decision-makers
The ISBA Conference brings together over 500 bursars and senior management staff from independent schools across the UK and internationally. As key decision-makers responsible for sourcing their schools' services and supplies, these professionals play a vital role in shaping the future of their institutions.
LUC will join 180 exhibitors at this premier event for the independent education sector, demonstrating our expertise in helping schools create better environments for learning.
Building on our ISBA engagement
This exhibition follows LUC's successful webinar for ISBA members earlier this year. On 24 January, LUC experts Rachel Haworth and Hannah Gillett delivered an insightful session titled 'Managing historic estates while working towards net zero – a masterplanning approach'.
The webinar explored how schools can balance conservation with sustainability goals, covering critical topics such as:
- Energy and carbon reduction requirements for schools
- Challenges and opportunities in achieving energy efficiency within historic estates
- The value of masterplanning for a holistic approach to managing historic assets
- Balancing energy performance with energy generation opportunities
This popular session provided practical advice to help independent schools integrate sustainability into the management of heritage estates.
