SSERC has invited Sarah Miller, Consultant Ecologist at LUC, to present at a STEM Ambassadors event next week.
Sarah will deliver a presentation titled ‘The Life of an Ecologist’, overviewing her career path so far. She will offer some career tips for prospective Ecology professionals, and will overview the work she does at LUC. She will also examine possible next steps for her in the industry.
The event, titled ‘Taking Biology Further with STEM Ambassadors’, will showcase a variety of biology-related careers.
Five STEM Ambassadors will participate in the event, and each presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
SSERC is a not-for-profit company that provides learning support for STEM subjects in the Scottish school curriculum. It provides resources for teachers to aid in their responsibilities under the Career Education Standard. It also offers career guidance for secondary school students interested in STEM careers.
The event will take place online on the 27 October.
