LUC and Scottish clients enjoy velodrome cycling session
LUC invited clients to a day at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow last week. This was to say thank you for playing a part in a successful and award-winning 2018 for the company.
We enjoyed an exhilarating cycling session on the Velodrome with our clients (and some lucky members of our Scottish offices) and enjoyed lunch and drinks overlooking the track.
We’ve taken some of our Scottish clients out for a cycling session at the velodrome at @EmiratesArena. No accidents! 🚴♀️ pic.twitter.com/HkresajjZV— LUC (@LUCtweeting) 30 November 2018
The day was a great opportunity to socialise with our clients and all guests had a brilliant time.
The Emirates’ Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome is located within the Clyde Gateway area of Glasgow. Clyde Gateway aims to transform the image, perception and fortunes of an area covering a large part of the East End of Glasgow and has set ambitious targets to bring jobs, investment and new housing on an unprecedented scale and pace. A key project for Clyde Gateway is the regeneration of Shawfield in South Lanarkshire. LUC was a key part of the multi-disciplinary team that delivered the large-scale sustainable development framework for Shawfield National Business District: a new city district close to the arena, with improved connectivity to other regeneration sites.
