Your say matters: Help shape the future of green spaces in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse

LUC, working for South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils, is developing a brand new Green Infrastructure Strategy and Open Space Study.

These will guide how greenspaces are used and protected in both districts for years to come.

We need your help. We're asking residents to complete a short online survey to understand how you use greenspaces near your home or workplace.

What do we mean by greenspace?

This includes all outdoor areas you can access, like parks, village greens, playgrounds, churchyards, and even natural spaces like woodlands and meadows.

The survey covers:

  • Formal parks with benches, paths, and play equipment;
  • Natural spaces like woodlands and wildflower meadows;
  • Children's play areas including playgrounds and green gyms; and
  • Walking and cycling routes both in the countryside and within towns.

Why is your input important?

By sharing your thoughts, you'll help us ensure the new Green Infrastructure Strategy and Open Space Study reflects what matters most to you about your greenspaces.

The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is completely anonymous.
