Uttlesford District Council appoints LUC to deliver Landscape Assessment
Uttlesford District Council has commissioned LUC to update its 2009 Landscape Character Assessment to inform the new Local Plan.
The work will provide an understanding of the character of landscape within Uttlesford District.
LUC’s landscape planners will evaluate the issues related to climate change and ongoing development pressures to assess their impact on the landscape's condition and character. The report will also provide guidance for landscape conservation and enhancement.
Having undertaken Landscape Sensitivity Assessments in 2021-22, this project marks our continuing commitment to working with Uttlesford Council on shaping the future of this highly rural landscape.
