The Cannock Chase National Landscape Partnership commissioned LUC to explore how to ensure the National Landscape’s financial future in the face of reduced public funding.

LUC's work helped Cannock Chase National Landscape identify the most suitable model for long-term financial stability.

This will allow the National Landscape to continue its vital work of conserving the landscape and promoting public enjoyment.

LUC assessed various alternative funding mechanisms against Cannock Chase National Landscape’s specific needs.

This included in-depth consultations with stakeholders to determine the most appropriate solution.

Following detailed assessments, LUC recommended establishing a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) as the most effective path forward.

The CIO would collaborate with the existing National Landscape Unit to raise funds and implement projects that secure Cannock Chase's financial future.

To support the CIO's establishment, LUC developed a comprehensive Implementation Plan for the Joint Committee.

This plan outlines the necessary assessments and practical steps, including resource allocation and timelines, for successfully setting up the CIO.
