Moving forward with renewables in Wales
LUC worked with Dulas to provide landscape and visual advice to EDF Renewables in relation to the proposed Garn Fach Wind Farm in Powys, Mid-Wales.
We worked from the project’s start in 2019 through to the examination in 2024.
Decarbonising our energy network
The 17-turbine site will generate enough renewable energy for 69,000 homes and help the UK to meet climate targets.
The development will set up a community benefit fund and provide local jobs.
Providing design advice
LUC provided wind farm design advice, undertook the landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) and provided support through the Examination as part of this Development of National Significance (DNS) Application.
