The service explained
We guide opportunities for landscape regeneration, helping clients to address the biodiversity and climate crisis. Our landscape-led approach assesses the whole landscape and the ecosystems that depend on it. We aim to support the delivery of a range of ecosystem services, including providing access to nature for people.
LNCS review
We review Local Nature Conservation Sites (LNCS) using public data and local authority information. Our work draws on current and emerging best-practice approaches to strategic and practical ecology.
Local nature recovery strategy support
LUC is a market leader in developing LNRSs that are informed by the latest science, policy and funding developments. We offer cross-discipline expertise, including planning, ecology, landscape design, land management and GIS. We provide digital tools for creating engaging and interactive online content to support stakeholder engagement.
Strategic BNG
Delivery of enhancement as part of new development is a logical solution. We support the delivery of borough and county-wide Biodiversity Net Gain as part of our Strategic Ecology service.
