Dan is a chartered landscape architect with over 14 years’ experience of landscape planning and assessment.
Dan specialises in landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) and cumulative assessment for complex infrastructure projects. He often works within a multi-disciplinary team as part of environmental impact assessment (EIA).
He has worked on a wide range of development types, including minerals, renewable energy, electricity transmission infrastructure, large-scale built development, residential development and transport infrastructure.
Dan also has expertise in site identification and feasibility advice in relation to renewable energy developments, and in routeing and assessment of electricity transmission infrastructure.
He has provided expert witness evidence in relation to landscape and visual matters at Public Local Inquiry and supported on multiple Public Local Inquiries, Hearings and Examinations.
