Steve Jackson-Matthews
About
Steve is a highly experienced ecologist and sits on LUC's Company Board. He is skilled in balancing the needs of both development and the natural environment.
Steve has undertaken ecological assessments for a wide range of proposed developments across the UK and Ireland, including housing, transport and utilities infrastructure projects.
As well as working extensively within the planning system, Steve is also routinely involved in developing research projects and training programmes. Dedicated to raising standards within the ecology industry, he is a founder of the Association of Environmental Clerks of Works (AECoW) and is leading the development of this important organisation. He also works closely with students and graduates to address the current ecology skills gap and regularly designs and delivers training events.
