About
Iain has over ten years' project management experience in ecological and ornithological consultancy.
Iain has worked on numerous projects in the renewables sector, principally onshore wind and overhead power line developments. He has also provided expertise on road building projects, and industrial, housing and amenity developments.
Iain coordinates ornithological and ecological input at all project stages, from field survey through to client and consultee liaison, data analysis, constraint mapping and assessment including Habitats Regulations Appraisal.
Iain enjoys the challenges of integrating research findings and ecological principles into projects, by exploring opportunities to maximise a project’s biodiversity outcomes to benefit clients and wider society.
