About
Joanna Wright has over 30 years’ experience in environmental planning, with expertise in both environmental impact assessment (EIA) and carbon management.
Her work includes site-based EIAs and independent EIA reviews, for projects such as wind and solar farms, overhead transmission lines, mixed use developments and waste and water infrastructure. She also delivers strategic planning work for local authorities and government agencies.
Joanna has undertaken a range of research commissions, a number of which have culminated in the preparation of good practice guidance. She is regularly invited to speak at EIA conferences, both within the UK and more widely. Joanna is also a member of IEMA’s West of Scotland Steering Group.
