About

Josh has almost 15 years' experience in environmental planning, with expertise in strategic planning and appraisal, Green Belt, growth options and urban fringe assessment, and planning policy research and guidance.

Josh has tackled a range of planning issues for public, private and third sector organisations. Projects include green infrastructure and open space, cultural heritage, renewable energy, minerals and waste and climate change.

He is a specialist in the Sustainability Appraisal (SA), Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA) of Local Plans and informing their content through the delivery of robust evidence.

Josh has a particular interest in planning for strategic growth in sensitive locations, particularly within or in close proximity to the Green Belt, National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
