LUC undertakes online consultation for Tottenham Hale nature reserve

LUC is working with Haringey Council and The Conservation Volunteers on a new management plan and design for The Paddock nature reserve in Tottenham Hale.

Public engagement is a significant part of the project and LUC is facilitating online consultation throughout. Feedback will help our Landscape Architects develop design proposals for the site.

The Council is collaborating with residents and community partners to improve and connect Tottenham Hale’s green and open spaces. Improving access to the Paddock, whilst protecting and enhancing its ecology, is a key part of regeneration plans.

Haringey’s key objectives for The Paddock site are to create:

  • a well-used green space, which supports community and educational activities, and provides multiple opportunities for visitors to explore and learn in a unique ecological setting
  • a well-managed, exemplar site for ecology and biodiversity in Haringey
  • a well-connected green space, which seamlessly integrates with the new Hale Wharf pedestrian bridges and Ferry Lane improvements – a key element of the emerging ‘green grid’ of routes connecting Tottenham to the Lea Valley

LUC’s online consultation hub allows local residents to review the plans and have their say.
