LUC Director appointed Fellow of IEMA
LUC is delighted that our Director of Environmental Planning, Joanna Wright, has been appointed as a Fellow of IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) after being nominated by her colleagues.
This is in recognition of Joanna’s commitment to environmental sustainability including her dedication as an EIA practitioner.
Joanna has overseen the delivery of the IEMA EIA Quality Mark within LUC since its inception in 2011. She has facilitated internal training sessions on ‘lessons learned’ following from the implementation of the 2017 EIA Regulations. IEMA has recognised Joanna’s desire to develop the profession by regularly speaking at EIA conferences. She also is an active member of the Scotland West Steering Group.
Joanna looks forward to engaging with IEMA events in the future and using her fellowship to improve EIA practice.
