LUC’s ecologist Heather Lafferty is switching to a more physical mode of transport for her long commutes to work this month, in aid of homelessness charities.
Heather has given up her daily train and subway commutes and is instead cycling the 30 km round-trip from Lenzie to LUC’s Glasgow office. For each day she is able to do this, she is donating her usual commuting cost to charity to aid the eradication of homelessness.
You can follow Heather’s efforts, and send her words of support, at Heather’s #WheelsForChange on Facebook.
Well done Heather!
