LUC retains IEMA EIA Quality Mark for 2021-2022
We are pleased to announce that LUC has retained its IEMA EIA Quality Mark for 2021-2022. In doing so, LUC continues to operate alongside 58 of the UK’s leading consultancies as an EIA Quality Mark Registrant.
Registrants make a commitment to excellence in their EIA activities, and have this commitment independently reviewed.
Last month Joanna Wright, Director of Environmental Planning at LUC, joined the launch of IEMA’s Second EIA Greenhouse Gas Guide. Joanna was part of the working group that prepared the guidance, which contributed towards LUC’s certification.
The IEMA EIA Quality Mark recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary. To coincide with this, the scheme has undergone a thorough review of practice. Anniversary amendments include:
- Broadening and strengthening the interview process
- Additional review procedures
- A move towards a digital platform
- Closer integration between registrants and the activities of the IEMA Impact Assessment Network
- Broadening opportunities to contribute to good practice
