LUC on double BALI National Landscape Award-winning project team

LUC is pleased to have worked alongside Talbot Farm Landscapes on a double BALI National Landscape Award-winning project this year.

Talbot Farm Landscapes won a Principal award for ‘Hyde Park Parade Ground Reinstatement Works’ in the Regeneration Scheme Over £500k category. LUC was named as the architect for the project, which involved carrying out pre and post event grass condition surveys through the year and setting up scaled plans to illustrate the proposals to reinstate the Parade Ground. The high quality restoration of the site was also managed and delivered by LUC.

The Royal Parks required successful repair and re-use of the site following subsequent damage to the condition of the grass. The extensive network of underground services crossing the Parade Ground and high volume public use required careful and sensitive site operations. Regular communication with The Royal Parks and on-going site inspections during the project period ensured milestones were met and any issues were dealt with swiftly.

The same project was also recognised for a Special Award for First Time Entrant, winning a second Principal award.
