Duncan McLean speaking at 3rd annual Scotland Development Conference

Duncan McLean, Director of Landscape Architecture at LUC, is presenting at the Scotland Development Conference hosted by Built Environment Networking next week.

Duncan will deliver a Best Practice presentation relating to LUC’s long-running involvement with the award-winning Glasgow Claypits project.

LUC has supported the project for several years, with extensive landscape design and masterplanning services. This includes leading the development of the Claypits Masterplan and subsequent design work for an area covering 17 hectares. We also acted as NEC Project Manager and Principal Designer during construction.

The conference will showcase over £50 billion of new development in Scotland, including regeneration projects such as Glasgow Claypits. Over 300 stakeholders and executives will be in attendance from a range of sectors, including housing, infrastructure, and renewable energy. There will also be representatives from the public sector and Government ministers.

The event will take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Friday 22 October.
