Joanna Wright, Director of Environmental Planning at LUC, is speaking at the 3 Annual ‘Environmental Impact Assessment for Infrastructure Projects’ masterclass later this week, on behalf of the Waterfront Conference Company.
She will deliver a presentation titled ‘The impact of net zero and climate change considerations: what are the requirements and how to meet these’. It will address the following points:
- Current requirements to address greenhouse gas emissions in EIA
- Examples of how these have been reflected in recent practice
- Moving towards closer alignment with the net zero agenda.
The presentation forms part of a day-long masterclass event, which offers practical guidance for the current challenges of conducting EIA. This includes policy insights, practical strategies for biodiversity net gain, and how to meet net zero targets.
The event will take place virtually on Thursday 2 December.
